Get Hands-On with Repairs: Conduct basic troubleshooting and repair work on UPS equipment under guidance from more experienced technicians.
Power Up Systems: Perform battery installations, replacements, and scheduled battery testing to ensure system reliability.
Keep Maintenance on Track: Carry out maintenance procedures in alignment with periodic service schedules and best practices.
Create Clear Records: Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all services performed in the field.
Diagnose and Document: Inspect and test returned products, components, and systems to identify defects and determine operational status.
Stay Professional: Submit timely and accurate expense reports in accordance with company travel and reimbursement policies.
Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with Engineering and other departments to explore product improvements and identify optimal solutions.
Build Strong Relationships: Promote a positive image of the Service Center Division by working cooperatively with MEPPI teams, customers, and suppliers.
What You Bring:
Education: Associate degree in Electrical, Electronics, or a related technical field with 0–1 years of experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical or electronic systems—or equivalent education and experience.
Technical Skills: Developed knowledge and practical experience using mechanical and electronic test equipment.
Communication: Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members in a professional, service-oriented manner.
Technology Proficiency: Developed computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office applications and MRP/ERP business systems.
Must hold a valid driver's license and be able to rent vehicles as needed.
