Field Service Technician I – Transmission & Distribution

Lead with Safety:* Facilitate morning jobsite briefings covering planned work activities, hazards, mitigations, and safety plans.
Promote a Safe Work Environment: Conduct safety observations and submit reports to support data analysis and continuous improvement.
Document with Care: Maintain accurate service records and documentation of services performed.
Stay Professional: Submit timely and accurate expense reports in accordance with company policies.
Build Strong Relationships: Support the goals of the Service Center Division by fostering positive relationships and conducting business professionally with all stakeholders.
What You Bring:
Education: Associate degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or a related technical field, with 0–1 years of experience troubleshooting and repairing technical, electrical, and/or electronic products—or equivalent education and experience.
Technical Skills: Intermediate knowledge and proficiency with mechanical and electronic test equipment.
Problem-Solving Ability: Intermediate analytical and troubleshooting skills to support field service activities.
Communication: Intermediate interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills to effectively engage with customers, employees, and suppliers.
Technical Knowledge: Ability to read and interpret detailed equipment schematics and facility one-line drawings.
Technology Proficiency: Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office products, MRP/ERP systems, and company timekeeping and expense reporting tools.
