Refrigeration System Work: Execute refrigerant-related tasks, including leak detection, reclamation, evacuation, and charging of R410A systems.
Diagnose Electrical Systems: Troubleshoot and repair HVAC electrical and control systems to restore functionality and performance.
Support Customers: Provide technical support to internal teams, third-party service partners, and end users.
Inspect & Evaluate: Test returned equipment and components to assess defects and determine operational readiness.
On-Call Emergency Support: Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to provide emergency field support when needed.
Keep Clear Records: Maintain detailed documentation of all service visits, repairs, and installations.
Collaborate on Projects: Offer field assistance for power equipment installations and related technical activities.
Report & Reimburse: Submit timely and accurate expense reports in accordance with company travel and reimbursement policies.
Promote Teamwork: Represent the Service Center Division positively by working collaboratively with other departments, suppliers, and customers.
What You Bring:
Education & Experience: Associate degree in HVAC, Electrical, Electronics, or a related technical field with 2–5 years of experience troubleshooting and repairing HVAC or refrigeration systems—or equivalent education and experience.
Certifications: EPA Section 608 certification required.
Technical Expertise: Advanced proficiency in using mechanical and electronic test equipment; ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical documents.
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical thinking with the ability to identify root causes and implement solutions.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills for working with customers, team members, and vendors.
Computer Literacy: Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office, timekeeping, and expense reporting systems.
Valid Driver's License: Required for travel to customer sites and use of rental vehicles.
