Position summary

olve basic assembly and drawing interpretation issues. Assist QA Supplier Quality and the Inspection Supervisor in disposition of Material Review Reports (MRRs).

  • Interpret Technical Documentation: Read and understand manufacturing procedures, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams to validate compliance during inspections.

  • Inspect Field-Returned Equipment: Document, investigate, and report on returned goods (RG/IG), and assist in evaluating vendor part certifications.

  • Train & Mentor: Provide on-the-job support and training to team members. Assist with identification of unlabeled components and interpretation of production documentation.

  • Track and Resolve Issues: Verify timely closure of MRRs, participate in investigations, and perform/coordinate repairs to ensure components meet quality standards.

  • Test for Gas Integrity: Perform SF6 gas leak testing and evaluate gas quality using appropriate tools and protocols.

  • Promote Continuous Improvement: Recommend enhancements to procedures and contribute to a professional, proactive QA team culture.

What You Bring:

  • Education: High school diploma or trade school graduate required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years' experience in Quality Assurance or Inspection, or equivalent combination of education and demonstrated skills.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and specifications.

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

    • Developed math and trigonometry knowledge.

    • Basic computer and data entry skills.
