Position summary

ardize Training Curriculum**: Organize, formalize, and integrate existing training materials into a cohesive curriculum for MEPPI service technicians, Authorized Service Provider (ASP) technicians, and customer personnel.

Team Management & Development

Lead Training Staff: Manage and direct training coordinators and technical trainers in accordance with Company policies and procedures.

Support Talent Development: Participate in hiring decisions, conduct performance reviews, and provide input for compensation decisions.

Build Trainer Capability: Develop and maintain trainer expertise through train-the-trainer programs, cross-training, and continuing education initiatives.

Program Execution & Coordination

Oversee Training Delivery: Supervise classroom and factory-based training sessions to ensure quality and consistency.

Manage Training Schedules: Prepare weekly and monthly trainer schedules aligned with operational training needs and field service requirements.

Ensure Compliance & Documentation: Maintain accurate training procedures, records, documentation, and compliance tracking in alignment with quality and safety standards.

Continuous Improvement & Collaboration

Adapt Training to Change: Evaluate technical, process, and management changes to assess training impacts and update programs accordingly.

Partner Across the Division: Collaborate with department managers to identify division-wide and department-specific training and refresher needs.

Coordinate Training Resources: Align internal and external training resources to meet identified needs efficiently.

Represent the Division Professionally: Promote a positive, professional image of the Switchgear Division through effective interaction with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

What You Bring

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in training or educating technical personnel, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Technical & Leadership Expertise:

  • Intermediate knowledge of mechanical and electrical components, drawings, and specifications

  • Strong leadership and people-management capabilities

  • Experience managing training programs in a technical or manufacturing environment

Skills & Attributes:

  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills with strong group presentation abilities

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously

  • Collaborative approach with a focus on employee development

Technology Proficiency:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and/or Quality Systems
