Position summary

ndling, assembly, and inventory of materials and subassemblies in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Ensure Quality and Compliance:

  • Review and validate all job paperwork, ensuring documentation is completed properly and transactions are accurately recorded in both paper and ERP systems.

  • Enforce company policies and material center procedures to ensure safety, accuracy, and efficiency.

Drive Employee Engagement and Performance:

  • Provide training, cross-training, and development opportunities to build a high-performing team.

  • Evaluate employee performance with a focus on attendance, work quality, productivity, teamwork, and adherence to safety standards.

  • Conduct daily pre-shift meetings to align teams on work assignments, safety updates, and procedural changes.

Promote Safety and Continuous Improvement:

  • Champion a safety-first culture by ensuring compliance with safety procedures and leading investigations when incidents occur.

  • Recommend and implement process improvements to boost productivity while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Maintain Clean and Efficient Operations:

  • Oversee the cleanliness, organization, and operational flow of the HVSD Material Center.

  • Ensure timely processing and resolution of Vendor Return Material Authorizations (VRMAs) and Material Rejection Reports (MRRs).

What You Bring:

Education:

  • Associate's Degree in Material Management, Business, Operations, Logistics, or a related field—or equivalent education and experience.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse, material center, or production setting.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to lead and motivate teams.

  • Developed interpersonal skills and the ability to foster a collaborative and respectful work environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (Syteline experience preferred).
