Ensure Quality and Compliance:
Review and validate all job paperwork, ensuring documentation is completed properly and transactions are accurately recorded in both paper and ERP systems.
Enforce company policies and material center procedures to ensure safety, accuracy, and efficiency.
Drive Employee Engagement and Performance:
Provide training, cross-training, and development opportunities to build a high-performing team.
Evaluate employee performance with a focus on attendance, work quality, productivity, teamwork, and adherence to safety standards.
Conduct daily pre-shift meetings to align teams on work assignments, safety updates, and procedural changes.
Promote Safety and Continuous Improvement:
Champion a safety-first culture by ensuring compliance with safety procedures and leading investigations when incidents occur.
Recommend and implement process improvements to boost productivity while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Maintain Clean and Efficient Operations:
Oversee the cleanliness, organization, and operational flow of the HVSD Material Center.
Ensure timely processing and resolution of Vendor Return Material Authorizations (VRMAs) and Material Rejection Reports (MRRs).
What You Bring:
Education:
Associate's Degree in Material Management, Business, Operations, Logistics, or a related field—or equivalent education and experience.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse, material center, or production setting.
Skills & Abilities:
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to lead and motivate teams.
Developed interpersonal skills and the ability to foster a collaborative and respectful work environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (Syteline experience preferred).
