Project Applications Engineer I

ring support to internal and external customers for product applications and solutions.

• Support Onsite Services:
  Assist other departments by providing technical expertise for onsite services as needed.

• Manage Customer Communications and Documentation:
  Track and communicate order details, technical requirements, and customer interactions. Ensure all documentation is maintained and transferred in accordance with MEPPI's quality system.

• Recommend Product Applications:
  Identify and recommend the appropriate application of CPSD products to meet customer needs.

• Create and Review Technical Drawings:
  Present, review, and develop electrical, schematic, system, and mechanical drawings to support customer solutions.

• Promote CPSD Products:
  Develop compelling written and verbal communications to describe and promote CPSD product capabilities.

• Mitigate Risk:
  Work with management and internal teams to identify and reduce risk and exposure related to customer and vendor orders.

• Evaluate and Control Costs:
  Collaborate across departments to assess and manage costs associated with orders.

• Participate in Factory Testing:
  Attend and support factory witness tests as necessary.

• Support Product and Process Improvements:
  Identify cost-saving opportunities and suggest new product enhancements.

What You Bring:

• Education:
  Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

• Experience:
  0–2 years of experience in applications engineering and/or technical sales in power quality/distribution; or equivalent education and experience.

• Technical Knowledge:
  Familiarity with UPS systems, power quality equipment, batteries, and/or distribution switchgear.

• Drawing Proficiency:
  Ability to read, understand, and create technical drawings and materials.

• Communication Skills:
  Intermediate interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to engage effectively with customers, colleagues, and suppliers.

• Analytical Thinking:
  Intermediate analytical and problem-solving skills to support technical and commercial decision-making.

• Computer Proficiency:
  Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, CAD software, and ERP business systems.
