Position summary

curement personnel on issues relating to project status and to resolve open issues.

  • Assist in the planning and execution of specialized projects as assigned, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Promote and adhere to MEPPI's Safety, Quality, and Environmental Policies, ensuring their importance and impact are understood across the organization.
  • Facilitate and coordinate product development efforts and product launches, ensuring alignment with market needs and strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with MEPPI Marketing and Corporate Development teams to analyze and report on industry trends, market directions, and emerging business opportunities relevant to PUG.
  • Monitor and assess government policies and initiatives impacting the PUG business and provide actionable insights to leadership.
  • Actively participate with the development and implementation of continuous improvement activities.
  • Support long-term strategic planning activities and contribute to the development of annual business plans, aligning efforts with corporate objectives.
  • Review activity reports and financial statements to assess progress toward objectives and identify areas for improvement.
  • Participate in operational planning and oversight, support process improvement initiatives, and assist in establishing policies and procedures to enhance PUG Division performance.
  • Further the goals and positive, professional image of MEPPI through interaction with customers, employees, and MELCO personnel.
  • Know MEPPI's Safety, Quality and Environmental Policies. Be able to fully discuss the importance of these policies and how they impact work.

What You Bring
Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or other relevant field with a minimum of 10 years of experience in high technology industrial products, or related education and experience.

Technical Acumen

  • Intermediate knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, computer hardware, and software development.

  • Basic knowledge of industrial standards such as IEEE, IEC, NEMA, UL, and FNPA.

Leadership & Communication

  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and working with technical and executive stakeholders.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics for various audiences.

Tools & Systems

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar).

  • Experience with ERP and PLM systems is a plus.
