Position summary

g Leadership:** Facilitate 5-WHY and Failure Mode and Effects Analyses (FMEA) to address divisional challenges.

  • Nonconformities Management: Review, trend, and close out nonconformities and incidents promptly.

  • Design Support: Collaborate with Engineering and Production teams to identify and resolve design problems.

  • Supplier and Production Collaboration: Work closely with suppliers, inspection teams, and production staff to address in-process product assembly issues.

  • Quality Audits: Lead or participate in internal audits and ensure findings are effectively resolved in a timely manner.

  • Procedure Development: Evaluate and refine HVSD procedures and documentation to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

  • Continuous Improvement: Drive in-house quality assurance and manufacturing improvement programs throughout HVSD.

  • Field Service Analysis: Analyze service reports, identify trends, and develop preventive action plans.

  • Customer and Supplier Engagement: Travel to customer or supplier locations to audit, analyze, and resolve quality issues.

  • Quality Record Maintenance: Ensure quality records are generated, retained, and managed in compliance with HVSD and company policies.

What You Bring:

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field with 3–5 years of experience in quality control/assurance—or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Technical Expertise:

    • Intermediate knowledge of ISO 9001, Lean, and Six Sigma practices.
    • Advanced understanding of quality techniques like Statistical Process Control (SPC), Deming Methods, 5-WHY, and 8D problem-solving.
  • Communication Skills: Advanced interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills to collaborate with employees, vendors, and customers effectively.

  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in MS Office and MRP/ERP systems.
