Position summary

or products, parts, and services. Clarify, negotiate, and close proposals, and obtain customer feedback for continuous improvement.

Manage Manufacturing Slot Reservations: Reserve production capacity for partnership customers and monitor schedules to ensure delivery commitments align with customer expectations.

Process & Turn Over Orders: Confirm incoming customer orders match approved proposals. Enter orders and coordinate turnover to Engineering, Production, and Contract Administration. Communicate all contract requirements and commitments.

Provide Customer Reporting: Prepare and distribute monthly customer reports summarizing deliveries, production slots, and upcoming shipment expectations.

Serve as Primary Customer Contact: Ensure timely communication, issue resolution, and escalation for customer inquiries by effectively utilizing internal resources.

Lead Customer Meetings: Conduct face-to-face meetings and partnership reviews to address technical and commercial topics, including new products, design changes, field and quality incidents, and modifications or repairs.

Develop Sales Materials: Create sales aids, customer presentations, and supporting documentation.

Support Pricing & Margin Goals: Calculate product, parts, and service costs; recommend pricing aligned with company margin requirements and current market conditions.

What You Bring

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline

  • 3–5 years of experience in engineering, marketing, or related technical roles, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Technical & Commercial Skills:

  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings, specifications, and materials

  • Knowledge of negotiation techniques for customer contract discussions

Skills & Attributes:

  • Advanced interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills for interaction with customers and internal stakeholders

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to manage multiple customer accounts and projects simultaneously

Technology Proficiency:

  • Advanced computer skills with MS Office products

  • Experience with MRP/ERP systems
