Lead Customer Engagement: Serve as the primary engineering contact from initial inquiry through project commissioning and turnover.
Execute Power Quality Studies: Conduct power quality studies on-site with advanced analyzers and guide service engineers in executing these assessments.
Collaborate on Design Excellence: Partner with project managers to address design, drawings, and manufacturing issues, ensuring high-quality project completion.
Innovate Technical Solutions: Translate customer needs into innovative, project-specific technical solutions by collaborating with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Perform Critical Calculations: Conduct sizing calculations for reactive and real power compensation systems to meet technical and business objectives.
Build Strategic Partnerships: Develop strong relationships with customers, sales managers, and representatives to expand business opportunities and drive growth.
Create Impactful Sales Tools: Design engaging sales aids and presentations to effectively communicate solutions to customers.
Drive Pricing Strategies: Calculate product, parts, and service costs while recommending pricing strategies that align with margin requirements and market conditions.
Train and Educate: Lead training sessions for customers and internal field service personnel to enhance technical understanding and support.
Enhance Documentation: Support the creation of comprehensive technical documentation for customers and internal stakeholders.
Promote Excellence: Represent the Electrical Distribution Division with professionalism and contribute to its positive reputation through effective customer and internal interactions.
What You Bring:
Electrical Engineering Expertise: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or engineering technology with 3+ years of experience in power quality, battery energy storage systems, and FACTS devices, or equivalent education/experience.
Power Quality Mastery: Proven expertise in power quality studies and calculations including reactive power flow, harmonics analysis, and design optimization.
Negotiation Prowess: Skilled in negotiating terms and conditions with customers to drive favorable outcomes.
Technical Proficiency: Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and materials.
Effective Communication: Advanced interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills to simplify and convey complex technical matters.
Analytical Expertise: Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities to deliver innovative solutions.
Organizational Excellence: Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Technical Savvy: Advanced proficiency with MS Office and steady-state/dynamic modeling software.
