Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans covering goals, scheduling, resource allocation, risk management, and contingency plans while ensuring costs stay within budget.
Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, change orders, delay fees, and contractual terms to align with project and customer requirements.
Coordinate on-site work activities by managing authorized service providers and subcontractors to meet project specifications.
Oversee internal MEPPI teams, including Field Service, coordinators, and purchasing, to ensure seamless project execution.
Identify and track issues, expediting resolutions and escalating to management as needed.
Prepare and present project status reports to management, customers, and stakeholders, keeping all parties informed of progress and challenges.
Travel frequently to customer project sites and vendor locations for oversight and collaboration.
Manage multiple medium-scale projects simultaneously, ensuring each meets or exceeds customer expectations.
Conduct post-project lessons learned reviews and contribute to the development of internal processes and best practices.
Promote a positive and professional image of the Division through effective communication and collaboration with customers and internal teams.
What you bring:
Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field, with a minimum of 7 years of project management experience, or equivalent education and experience.
Product Knowledge: Expertise in uninterruptible power supply systems, battery systems, IT cooling, transmission and distribution substation equipment, battery energy storage systems, and solar inverters.
Project Expertise: Proficiency in project management, construction, and commissioning concepts.
Problem-Solving: Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills related to technical, commercial, and financial challenges.
Communication: Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills to engage effectively with employees, customers, and vendors.
Technical Skills: Advanced computer skills, with a focus on MS Office products and Microsoft Project.
