Position summary

  • Provide technical software support to internal and external customers, including on-site assistance when required.

  • Produce comprehensive technical specifications, code documentation, user manuals, and service support documents.

  • Identify necessary hardwired and digital I/O to monitor and control systems and create seamless software interfaces.

  • Assist in the development and review of engineering and interface drawings to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.

  • Develop and deploy patches or solutions while adhering to configuration management principles.

  • Use graphical programming tools in MEPPI's test lab to design and implement innovative solutions.

  • Participate in technical meetings, seminars, and presentations with customers, sales teams, and partners.

  • Obtain quotes for peripheral equipment while ensuring compliance with Mitsubishi specifications.

  • Create and deliver training presentations on software use and capabilities for sales partners.

Qualifications

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering with 3–5 years of experience in systems engineering software and HMI development, or equivalent education and experience.

  • Proficient in scripting and automation languages (Python, C, LabVIEW).

  • Advanced knowledge of PLC programming (e.g., ladder logic, function block diagrams).

  • Hands-on experience in HMI/SCADA development for industrial automation.

  • Intermediate understanding of communication protocols and familiarity with power distribution or UPS systems.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively in a team environment.

  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and related tools.
