This position will report to the CPSD Quality Department Manager. You will be required to work hybrid in Warrendale, PA.
What You'll Do:
Manage and develop vendor/supplier relationships in coordination with relevant departments to enhance supply chain efficiency and responsiveness.
Draft, negotiate and execute supplier contracts and agreements including evaluation, qualification, and risk assessment in collaboration with internal teams.
Develop and present sourcing strategies incorporating supplier evaluations, risk analysis, and cost-savings that are aligned with Division objectives.
Plan and manage procurement activities based on forecasts and internal requisitions to ensure timely product availability.
Monitor and optimize inventory levels to meet demand.
Maintain and ensure accuracy and availability of ERP inventory records. Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure physical counts align with system counts.
Issue purchase orders and coordinate timely procurement and delivery of materials.
Track and coordinate resolution of delivery issues and discrepancies.
Monitor supplier performance and lead the resolution of commercial and technical issues.
Lead efforts for cost recovery for non-conforming materials.
Further the goals and positive, professional image of the Division through effective dealings with customers and other internal departments and divisions.
What You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree in business or supply chain management. Operations or related field with a minimum of 8 years of experience with supply chain and inventory management, or equivalent education or experience.
Advanced knowledge of supply chain systems, procurement processes and supplier negotiation techniques.
Advanced interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills required to communicate with employees and outside contacts.
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in multicultural environments with emphasis on Italian and Japanese cultures.
Advanced computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft Office products and MRP/ERP Systems.
