Track and report performance of procurement efforts and initiatives using quantifiable measures. Compare results against defined goals and objectives.
Track and analyze supplier costs and performance. Develop and maintain a preferred supplier database.
Research current and future trends regarding supply markets, pricing, and supplier capabilities.
Develop supply forecasts based on planned projects and sales activity.
Support the sales team during offer development by obtaining quotes for services and materials.
Support project management during the execution phase by obtaining updated quotations as needed.
Further the goals and positive, professional image of the Company by effective dealings with customers, vendors, and internal departments.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration or other related field with a minimum of 7 years of experience in procurement or purchasing or equivalent education and experience.
Advanced knowledge of supply chain and inventory management systems.
Ability to negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers and subcontractors.
Advanced interpersonal, communication and presentation skills required to communicate with employees, suppliers, and customers.
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
Advanced computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft Office products and project management software.
