Position summary

stry. Identify, establish, and meet with relevant audiences for SGS at utilities in the Americas including Investor-owned Utilities (IOUs), Municipals, and Co-operatives.

  • Represent SGS as an industry expert on key speaker panels, at trade shows, and industry conferences in the Americas.

  • Participate as an active and influential member of all relevant trade bodies for markets in the Americas where SGS wants to participate.

  • Work closely with Corporate Marketing for participation in national and regional trade shows, conferences, and industry related events.

  • Identify funding and facilitate financing for SGS utility software projects.

  • Liaise with SGS's Board Non-executive Director to actively promote SGS.

  • Liaise with PSG Outside Sales Team and the dedicated SGS Sales Team to properly position SGS solutions with new and existing clients.

  • Liaise with SGS Division GM and Head of Products in the United Kingdom to influence Product and Technology Roadmaps.

  • Coordinate with Mitsubishi Electric's broader ICT activities and Ex-Patriots as needed.

  • Work with Marketing and Sales to collect and analyze SGS market data as needed.

  • Further the goals and positive, professional image of MEPPI and SGS by professionally representing the Company with customers and through interaction with other MEPPI departments and vendors.

  • Know MEPPI's Quality, Safety and Environmental Policies. Be able to discuss the importance of these policies and how they impact work.

EDUCATION/SPECIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field with a minimum of 10 years of experience performing software service business development, or equivalent education or experience.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in implementing DERMS Grid Modernization software at electric utilities.
  • Intermediate knowledge and experience with software implementation within the electric utility industry.
  • Advanced analytical skills and problem-solving skills required.
  • Advanced interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills required to communicate with internal and external clients.
  • Advanced computer skills, with emphasis on Microsoft Office software.
