    Position summary

    n and analysis

    • Daily interaction with Front office

    • Liaison with various areas within the firm (e.g. Operations, Technology, FP&A, Front office)

    • Managerial reporting close at month-end including profit-sharing with other branches which requires liaising with other branches and Head office.

    • Month-end General Ledger closes in conjunction with the accounting team

    • Balance sheet substantiation

    • Assess new trades for appropriate valuation, accounting treatment, and disclosure in the financial statements. Providing analysis and information in response to ad hoc requests from various areas throughout the firm

    • Process reengineering to improve efficiencies

    • Participation in Finance initiatives/Projects

    Qualifications:

    • 4+ years of product control experience, particularly in Loan products

    • Accounting or Finance degree required

    • CPA or CFA preferred, but not required

    • High attention to detail

    • Strong ability to multitask efficiently and be extremely organized

    • Fast learner and team player

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

    • Highly proficient in Excel

    • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills; the ability to clearly articulate idea

    The expected base salary ranges from $91,000 - $140,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained . Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, including Medical, Dental and 401K plans, successful candidates are also eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
