Partner with production support to implement bank-standard monitoring, incident response, and disaster recovery processes and ensure the reliability, performance, and security of all managed platforms.
Manage vendor relationships and contracts related to platform engineering efforts, optimizing value and performance.
Qualifications
A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field is preferred.
15+ years of experience in technology leadership roles, with a focus on platform engineering and enterprise technology management.
Proven track record of leading large-scale platform initiatives and cloud transformations in a large financial services company.
Hands-on expertise in container and cloud-native technologies in a major cloud provider.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrated ability to drive change and deliver results in an outcome-oriented, high-growth corporate culture.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Azure cloud architecture and services.
Hands-on experience with GenAI products such as Office Copilot, GitHub Copilot, etc.
Knowledge of DevOps/ GitOps practices with CI/CD platforms like GitHub, GitLab, Terraform, Backstage, etc. in a highly regulated enterprise.
Exposure to data warehouse, data lake, or data mesh architectures, products, and patterns.
Familiarity with banking industry governance, risk management, and compliance practices.
Relevant certification (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Solutions Architect, etc.) and/or IT Service Management (e.g., ITIL).
The expected base salary ranges from $ 190 ,000.00 - $ 275 ,000.00. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
