Contribute to ad hoc work supporting new product development, including elements of project management
Financial Resource Management
Monitor Fixed Income's balance sheet and capital usage; develop analytics to drive optimization of resource utilization
Partner with Finance, Risk, and Business areas to conduct deep dive reviews of capital and balance sheet topics
Develop a commercial understanding of key capital and balance sheet methodologies and optimization strategies
Performance Analytics & Other Responsibilities
Contribute to regular reporting of Fixed Income KPI's; identify potential enhancements and recommend changes to management
Prepare analysis and insights on business performance for senior management
Engage Finance to ensure accurate reporting of divisional financials
Provide dynamic support for the broader Fixed Income COO area as required
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in finance or a related field. 2-5 years of experience in the financial industry; experience in investment banking market's area strongly preferred
Experience in a business management, strategy, or a financial analysis role
Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint knowledge required, including ability to create compelling presentations for senior management
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret a wide range of financial information
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including capacity to multi-task while maintaining a focus on timely delivering
Ability to work proactively and independently
Keen attention to detail and ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner.
The expected base salary ranges from $100,000- $150,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
