    Position summary

    recommending alternative data sources and information extraction methods.

    • Analyze collected data to identify trends and summarize key findings.

    • Report to the Managing Director/Vice President of the Business Planning Unit (BPU) regarding business planning matters.

    • Develop and maintain effective relationships and communication with colleagues within the department, as well as with other departments and divisions.

    • Participate in credit control, business infrastructure, and administrative initiatives relevant to business planning.

    • Support departmental efforts to control expenses using available system databases and business infrastructure.

    • Contribute to new projects, task forces, and other initiatives as required.

    • Undertake miscellaneous assignments as deemed necessary and appropriate by the manager.

    MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS OR EXPERIENCE:

    • Advanced Excel skills.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members in both Japanese and English.

    • Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years related experience preferably in a financial institution.

    • Strong ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously despite frequent interruptions.

    • Ability to quickly master new systems and application platforms.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

    OTHER/MISCELLANEOUS:

    • Flexibility to occasionally work variable hours due to workflow demands.

    • Capable of working independently and as part of a team to accomplish departmental goals.

    The expected base salary ranges from $80,000 - $90,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
