Divisional Financial Resource Management
Monitor Fixed Income's balance sheet and capital usage and work closely with business leads to set and manage to utilization targets
Enhance reporting of key financial resource utilization, metrics, and drivers to enable improved business decision making
Act as the advocate for the Fixed Income Division on financial resource topics with internal and external stakeholders, including obtaining allocations of financial resources to support business growth
Assess new regulatory developments, analyze the impact on the Fixed Income Division, and identify threats and opportunities as it pertains to financial resources
Continuously seek financial resource optimization opportunities across risk weighted assets, balance sheet, leverage, and funding, and make recommendations for actions to Fixed Income leadership
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in finance or a related field. 10-12 years of experience in the financial industry; experience in investment banking market's area strongly preferred
Experience in a business management role
Demonstrated knowledge of key financial resource topics including risk weighted assets, leverage, and funding as it pertains to fixed income business activities
Experience with fixed income products and fixed income financing activities in particular, including repo, securitization warehouse, and other typical products
Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint knowledge required, including ability to create compelling presentations for senior management
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret a wide range of financial information
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including capacity to multi-task while maintaining a focus on timely delivering
Strong sense of accountability, urgency, and proactively
Keen attention to detail and ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner
The expected base salary ranges from $225,000- $300,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
