    Position summary

    uires an experienced practitioner well-versed in BCM, risk, resilience and effective controls. Based in New York City, this is a hybrid position balancing requirements between remote and on-site working. The role ensures the bank readiness and effective execution of the continuity requirements of the business and function by ensuring both proper design and effective execution across bellow responsibilities:

    • Business Continuity Strategic Leadership
      • Collaborate with senior divisional leadership to integrate Business Continuity into strategic, risk-driven decision-making processes, ensuring that business services are designed and maintained to withstand disruptions.
      • Ensure alignment with the Operational Resilience program and propose new baseline of capabilities and risk mitigations. Help lead the organization's shift toward an integrated Operational Resilience model, embedding resilience thinking across services, processes, and systems.
      • Serve as a trusted advisor, providing constructive, reviews and challenges of business plans.
    • Continuity Planning
      • Conduct risk assessments and business impact analyses to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities
      • Collaborate with department heads to develop and implement mitigation strategies.
      • Develop and maintain comprehensive Business Continuity Plans.
      • Manage the preparedness against different scenario and the governance of event. Serve as the point of contact during a disruption, coordinating response efforts and communication.
    • Measure and Continuous Improvement
      • Implement a comprehensive continuous monitoring program to evaluate the effective risk mitigation,
      • Champion a resilience-driven culture by providing training, awareness, and engagement programs across all levels of the organization.
      • Participate to exercises, and scenario analyses to validate business continuity preparedness
      • Ensure timely resolution of issues, and recommend strategic enhancements
      • Prepare and present comprehensive reports on business continuity activities and maturity to senior management.
    • Regulatory and Market Practice Advisory
      • Provide expert guidance on regulatory requirements and supervisory expectations for Business continuity. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's or master's degree in risk management, business administration, information technology

    • 10+ years of experience in Business Continuity, Operational Resilience, Disaster Recovery, Crisis Management, or IT Continuity

    • Deep understanding of regulatory requirements and supervisory expectations for Business Continuity Management, including FFIEC booklets, Federal Reserve/OCC/FDIC guidance,

    • Proven experience leading mature enterprise business continuity programs

    • Relevant professional certifications are a plus, such as DRII/CBCP, Certified Resilience Professional (CRP), BCI/MBCI, ISO 22301 Lead Implementer, or equivalent.

    • Experience in Corporate and Investment Banking, Capital Markets or global Financial Institution.

    • Experience driving BC program lifecycle, including testing and maintenance of BIA, BCP, critical asset management, RRP

    • Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.

    • Collaborative skills to engage multiple audiences and manage their varied interests and objectives.

    • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to assess complex resilience scenarios and implement strategic, actionable solutions.

    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical and regulatory details for diverse stakeholder groups at all levels.

    • Strong project management skills with the agility to adapt to shifting priorities and unforeseen challenges

    The expected base salary ranges from $180.000.00 - $210,000.00. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, including but not limited to Medical, Dental and 401k that begin on day one of employment, successful candidates are also eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
