    Position summary

    Major Responsibilities:

    • New business generation with target client list of cross-border, value-added and return enhancing transactions.

    • Develop a detailed understanding of our client's cross-border financing needs and where and how Mizuho can deliver solutions for these requirements.

    • Focus on client solutions involving "flow products" suite comprising, but not limited to, deposits, FX, trade finance and cash management/transaction banking.

    • Prioritize "delivering" Mizuho's Japanese and pan-Asian network banking products and services and, where needed, support inbound US activity and outbound activity into other geographic regions (eg: Europe, Latin America).

    • Working closely with Global Client Relationship Managers, global GSC team, Mizuho overseas branches and key product partners to provide seamless, well-coordinated client coverage, both at the parent HQ and regional treasury center levels.

    • Help coordinate the preparation and approval of credit applications and assure successful execution of mandated transactions.

    Required Experience:

    • 5-10 years of relevant experience in international banking, including knowledge of the product suite.

    • A proven track record of delivering results by working in a cross-border team environment.

    Required Education:

    • BA in business, finance, economics or international studies.

    Required Personal Skills:

    • Self-motivated and results driven

    • Teamwork and strong communication skills

    • Technical product knowledge

    • Strong Risk Management skills

    • Additional language skills beyond English a plus

    The expected base salary ranges from $150K - $300k. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
