    Position summary

    are seeking an Asst Dir-Data Management to join the EMEA team of our structured finance content production group.

    The Team is responsible for Deal Discovery, Report Sourcing, Data acquisition, Data enrichment and Data maintenance in our systems and timely updates to our cash flow models of various EMEA securitization deal libraries (ABS, RMBS) using our in-house tools and systems.

    In this role, your key objectives will be to augment our Deal Discovery operations. This will involve identifying and cataloguing new issuances, guiding team in identifying sources for periodic reports, thereby maintaining a competitive coverage. Simultaneously, you will look after Data acquisition and management, where you'll employ our proprietary system to enhance our data coverage, quality, and timeliness. Collaboration will be essential as you'll work in tandem with data teams, financial engineers, and developers from multiple global locations. Your collective aim will be to amplify the quantity and quality of our content offerings, while also streamlining our business processes.

    In this role, you'll have the opportunity to directly engage with Trustee, Issuers and Arrangers of Structured Transactions, resolving issues and fostering beneficial relationships. Your understanding of various deal structures and cash flow features of securitization transactions across different asset classes will be crucial. You'll be expected to leverage this knowledge to facilitate cross-training within the team.

    Moreover, you'll work closely with client support teams and asset class desks, addressing client challenges, contributing to new feature developments, and analyzing new securitization products in the market. Your goal will be to drive innovation and ensure our offerings remain at the forefront of industry developments.

    • Ensure the EMEA ABS and RMBS deal universe is up-to-date for prompt report sourcing, data extraction, conduct data quality assessments, and implement necessary resolutions.
    • Acquire knowledge about our cash flow modelling software to scrutinize projected Cash Flows for a range of EMEA ABS and RMBS transactions for any discrepancy reported by internal as well as external clients.
    • Take part or spearhead projects aimed at boosting quality and productivity.
    • Engage in the development and enhancement of various proprietary tools used for data extraction, cash flow modeling and model updates.
    • Collaborate effectively with client success teams on client hurdles, new feature creations, and fresh securitization product analyses in the market.
    • Regularly evaluate, revise, and optimize existing processes to eliminate redundancy, clear bottlenecks and automate manual tasks, thereby improving response time.
    • Address and rectify any data and cash flow queries from both internal and external clients.
    • Scrutinize, comprehend, and reconcile any inconsistencies between closing legal documents and existing cash flow models.
    • This role demands meticulous attention to detail and the ability to function efficiently in a team environment to deliver accurate results promptly.

    Qualifications:

    • Possess a Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Finance, Engineering, Statistics, or Mathematics.
    • Minimum of six years of practical experience in the structured finance sector, specifically dealing with data or cash flow models.
    • Proven experience in projects involving data quality, data cleanup, and data enrichment.
    • Knowledge and understanding of the structured domain, including agency and non-agency RMBS, CMBS, ABS, and CDOs.
    • Proficiency in writing SQL queries, debugging complex SQL stored procedures, and handling read/write access to databases.
    • Practical knowledge of programming languages such as Python, VBA, or C# is mandatory.
    • Exceptional organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple projects under strict deadlines and maintain attention to detail.
    • Strong quantitative and analytical abilities.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to interact with business stakeholders at all levels.
    • Ability to quickly adapt and learn in a dynamic environment.
    • Excellent team player with the ability to work effectively with remote and globally dispersed cross-functional teams.
    • Creative problem-solving skills with a propensity for innovation.
    • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively to implement innovative solutions within the MA organization and across all business units.
    • Proven ability to effectively manage project activities, taking responsibility for outcomes.
