    Job Summary:
    This role is responsible for managing the full sales lifecycle process of a white space sales territory, including identifying and initiating new sales opportunities, and acting as the primary point of contact for clients.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage full lifecycle sales process which includes, identifying and initiating new sales opportunities by prospecting new clients and leveraging existing relationships, sales presentations and contract negotiations.

    • Act as the primary contact for prospective clients, coordinating across the organization to help the client achieve their objectives.

    • Ensure complete client coverage by calling upon product specialists and other client facing professionals where appropriate.

    • Provide current forecasts and pipeline information to management.

    • Market a variety of solutions across credit and supply chain risk, financial crimes compliance, sales & marketing, data management, structured finance, economics, ESG, and real estate to the Corporate sector.

    • Meet established revenue targets, while creating new and enhanced customer relationships ensuring satisfaction.

    • Work closely with Product Specialists, Product Strategists, Marketing Strategists and other employees within the organization to leverage their appropriate expertise to the sales cycle.

    • Represent company at industry and company sponsored events, as required.

    • Position requires travel.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelors' degree in Finance, Economics or related area preferred.

    • 3+ years' experience in a sales role within in a software/services organization with a successful track record in sales, preferably selling solutions to the global marketplace.

    • Ability to sell on a needs/solutions approach.

    • Ability to influence key decision makers during the full life cycle of the sales process.

    • Demonstrated ability to lead complex sales cycles to successful conclusions through of consultative selling techniques

    • Strong presentation and negotiation skills as well as outstanding client relationship management experience.

    • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.

    • Creative problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose issues and develop solutions.

    • Ability to multi task and meet short deadlines.

    • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment, with focus and high attention to detail

    For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $82,400 to $105,000, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody's also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
