We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to support Biomedical Engineering and Radiation Safety which are part of the Department of Medical Physics. Are you passionate about our mission and supporting our leaders? We want you to join us! This is a hybrid position!
The role will provide support, performing various clerical duties to contribute to the smooth operations of the Department's administrative office.

You will:
Prepare, proof-read and process documents for approval and/or distribution using office automation
Track expenses of faculty, staff, and non-employees; process reimbursements and payments
Assist with scheduling and making travel arrangements
Manage Section Heads' calendars and schedule meetings as assigned
Assist Section Heads on special projects to complete tasks such as drafting correspondence, copying and distributing correspondence/paperwork and filing
Prepare purchase requisitions, work orders, and process invoices for payment
Gather information and perform data entry in the MSK Time timekeeping system
Coordinate new employee team-specific orientation
Craft and distribute email communications including notifications, announcements, agendas, and invitations
Coordinate candidate interviews involving multiple stakeholders
Perform other tasks delegated by the Director and Associate Director
You have:
2 years' experience providing executive-level administrative support
Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multitask in a high-volume office
The ability to work independently under general supervision
Hours: Monday-Friday 9 am-5 pm. Primary location, 321 East 61 st Street, New York, NY 10065
