Global Head of SAP Platform & Corporate Apps

AP Platform & Corporate Apps Delivery Lead is accountable for leading the development and successful delivery of outcomes across our enterprise using of our Global SAP ecosystem (which includes SAP ECC, SAP S/4 HANA, Ariba, SAP BPC, SAP PI/PO, SuccessFactors and SAP Analytics Cloud) and other corporate applications that support Finance, HR, Legal and Corporate Affairs . This role will be a key partner and collaborate with both business and IT product/process leaders across the following core mega process areas: Record to Report, Plan to Perform, Source to Pay and Hire to Retire to deliver a streamlined solution.

This role will also partner with the Global Process Leads and Enterprise Architecture organization to architect, deliver and maintain end to end ERP/SAP solutions that are effective, efficient and fit for purpose by providing strong business capability.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivery of the Finance, HR, and Corporate applications development, improvements, changes and continuous improvements working with a cross functional process/product team
• Provide strategic and operational leadership and guidance to the development, implementation, and improvement of the evolving portfolio of software applications that support our Finance, HR, and Corporate functions teams.
• Accountable for the entire global (US/UK) SAP Ecosystem Application Development & Support, Environment Management, SAP Technical Architecture, Release Management, Integration, Deployments , Production Planning, Application Resilience and Partner Management
• Global Platform owner for all applications and technology that fall under the ERP ecosystem (several SAP Products) and corporate applications
• Develops and implements Corporate Applications and SAP Platform vision and operating plans; sets direction based on alignment to business strategy and technology opportunities
• Have a strategic mindset with the capability of establishing a comprehensive yet pragmatic vision based on a strong base of analysis
• Manage the Software Development Life Cycle to Ensure that all delivery activities are performed in an efficient, quality and compliant manner.
• Ensure that all SAP and Corporate Applications are reliable, resilient, secure and compliant
• Develop and sustain effective, "trusted advisor" relationships with stakeholders - including senior leaders - to provide credible insight and advice about leveraging technology for business effectiveness and competitiveness
• Develop, enhance, and implement solutions that improve NG’s ease of doing business and simplicity to provide customers (internal and external) with a superior experience, delivering digital solutions on time and within budget
• Initiates and fosters relationships and drives outcomes in partnership with Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure

Qualifications:

• Flexible, pragmatic and toggle between strategic and hands-on “doing”.
• Collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical team members
• Have a strong Data & Digital acumen (imagining and achieving the promise of technology)
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Information Technology related discipline, MBA or master’s degree is preferred
• At least 15 years of experience working in the SAP domain with 5+ years in leadership role; Utility experience preferred
• At least 3-4 Full Life Cycle experience implementing leading large, multi-year, business-critical SAP/S4 HANA programs
• Demonstrated track record of success in leading globally distributed teams for at least a period of 5 years and comfortable working in a matrixed environment
• Thorough knowledge of SAP (S4, ECC, Success Factors, SAP PO/PI, SAC , Ariba and other SAP applications)
• Strong working knowledge of cloud-native architectures, microservices, and open API's
• Ability to build strong business partnerships with internal associates and Executives as a thought leader and key business partner
