    Job Summary:

    Do you want to work with senior officials, to build and sustain professional networks in a diverse, fast-paced, multi-task environment? The National Security Agency (NSA) is seeking a highly energized, self-motivated person to serve as Chief to lead the team responsible for Cybersecurity Health, Secure the Enterprise compliance and Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes necessary to authorize a system for operational use in support of the SIGINT and Cybersecurity mission. As such, the selectee will play a critical role in creating culture focused on achieving innovative mission outcomes that capitalize on the strengths and talents of our work force.

    The Chief is responsible for the vision, leadership and operations of the NSA Authorization Services mission. The selectee will lead the Risk Management Framework (RMF) teams that authorize and continuously monitor systems globally deployed, and the teams that establish and maintain the processes and services needed to ensure 100% of the systems are compliant. Under their leadership, the organization will create a culture focused on achieving innovative mission outcomes that capitalize on the strengths and talents of its workforce; define the focus and strategic direction for the System Authorization Services mission-oriented programs; provide mentoring and career guidance to the workforce; support long term strategic planning; promote innovation and cultivate collaborative relationships across the agency and communities. In addition, the incumbent will:
    -tLead a technical workforce focused on defending networks at all classification levels comprised of civilian, military and contractor personnel locally and globally forward deployed personnel in the authorization/reauthorization of mission systems;
    -tCreate an environment that spurs innovation while ensuring diversity and inclusion as a key foundation of the organization;
    -tEnhance each employee's work experiences by mentoring, coaching and supporting each employee's promotion potential;
    -tOverseeing the Risk Management and Authorization program;
    -tDeveloping, deploying, operating and maintaining enterprise data analytic applications to enable continuous security monitoring of systems;
    -tDemonstrate the ability to develop and foster enterprise partnerships with internal, external DoD, Interagency, and foreign organizations; and
    -tMake a difference in balancing system security needs with operational mission requirements.

    The individual selected may be expected to represent the organization, the NSA/CSS Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), Chief Information Officer (CIO) and/or Authorizing Official (AO) in a variety of internal and external working groups.

    Qualifications:

    Key Requirements: Must be a U.S. Citizen; background investigation is required.

    • Minimum of 10 years of formal organization leadership/management experience of an IT organization.

    • Expert leadership and managerial capabilities, including the ability to effectively direct taskings, assess and manage performance, and support personal and professional development for all levels of personnel
    • The selectee must possess the ability to work through others and be the objective force driving decisions and courses of action on behalf of the group.
    • Ability to consider multiple sources, competing viewpoints and alternatives, policies and guidance, and internal/external politics in order to make fair and sound recommendations/decisions.
    • Ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously and condense and synthesize information quickly.
    • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as the ability to quickly assess complex situations and develop solutions that best meet often conflicting needs is crucial.
    • Outstanding oral and written communication skills are required.

    Competencies:

    Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule:

    Pay: Salary offers are based on candidates' education level and years of experience relevant to the position and also take into account information provided by the hiring manager/organization regarding the work level for the position.

    Salary Range: Up to $204,000
    Salary range varies by location, work level, and relevant experience to the position.

    On the job training, internal NSA courses, and external training will be made available based on the need and experience of the selectee.

    Work Schedule: This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday, with basic 8hr/day work requirement between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. (flexible).
