WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON
A typical day/week involves providing legal advice and support to Nike businesses across APAC, including advising on general employment law queries, contractual issues, outsourcing, restructuring and harmonization exercises, employment litigation, restrictive covenants, drafting and reviewing appropriate precedents, policies, and processes for compliance with relevant labor laws. You will provide advice in a timely manner and where appropriate engage, instruct, and manage external lawyers.
You will also work closely with Nike's investigation functions on internal investigations and advise on remediation and disciplinary action, assist with the implementation and management of key strategic HR legal projects, and take the lead in identifying and addressing employment legal risks within APAC, including emerging legal risks to the business, and make recommendations for change as required.
