c approach, this person will be a key partner in developing and implementing the real estate plan for the Nike Non-retail portfolio. The role will centrally lead the real estate and lease administration process globally, overseeing external lease administration partners and ensuring the integrity of Nike's lease data and accuracy of key dates and deliverables.
We are looking for an individual with deep experience in advising real estate lease management tools and portfolio management strategies, portfolio growth and driving efficiencies. This role informs strategic and performs operational functions for Nike's investment in non-retail real estate.
The candidate will bring:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, experience or training
A minimum of 6 years directly relevant work experience
Six years proven experience in lease negotiation, and ability to manage renegotiation strategy toward optimized portfolio outcome
At least four (4) years' experience directing other managers in an external partner setting and designing new operational processes for real estate lease management
Enterprise Leadership: experience working for a Fortune 500, or navigating a highly matrixed organization
Strategic Approach: proven track record in the use of strategic tools and frameworks to analyze multi-faceted challenges, develop clear recommendations and present findings
Quantitative Background: proven track record in the synthesis of data and analysis research related to consumers, industries, and competitors

Ability to travel domestically and internationally, on occasion (estimated 5% of the time)
What You'll Work On
In this role, you will provide strategic real estate portfolio leadership, market insights and lease terms discussions to deliver accretive investments, divestitures and lease savings to optimize the Nike Non-Retail Real Estate Portfolio. You will also work with business peers and external partners across real estate, location, construction, finance, legal, control, operations and other location related units to drive process excellence, data integrity and portfolio management.
Other activities include:
Provide strategic recommendations on lease administration and real estate operations to function managers.
Manage and optimize fleet analyses and develop business planning/budget process (opex and capex) for portfolio of existing leases
Support real estate transaction management globally as an end-to-end process.
Create multi-year road map, build financial analysis and lead Business Case preparation, coordination with key partners and review of recommendation or results.
Handle the lease administration of the portfolio with critical data tracking, lease audits, and documentation management.
Oversee all lease administration activities including but not limited to rent pay, audits, lease interpretation, accounting, lease (re)negotiation and renewals, and budget planning
Actively manage Nike's external lease administration partners along with KPI setting and tracking, performance and contract reviews.
Oversee lease administration and transaction tracking tools and processes offering direction and efficiencies for potential improvements and updates in the existing tool set.
