WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

• A bachelor's degree in engineering, business management or a related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training.

• Minimum 10 years' experience in Product Creation, Manufacturing or related fields in a leadership role.

• Proven expertise in footwear construction, material and manufacturing processes.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

• Ability to travel up to 10% of the year domestically and internationally

• Familiarity with Nike CODE Calendar preferred

• Experience delivering profitable product with high consumer value preferred

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

As Senior Director of Development, you'll lead the Footwear Development function for Jordan Kids & Core business to guide product excellence throughout the product creation lifecycle. You will shape product strategies, influence teams and product decisions, as well as drive cross-functional collaboration to balance critical dates, product specification, performance and profitability goals. The successful candidate will collaborate with Product leaders and work side-by-side with the Jordan Product Creation leadership team to ensure that our cross-functional teams work seamlessly to drive product excellence.

In this role, you will:

• Drive elevated standards and product excellence with cross functional counterparts in Marketing, Design and Product Creation

• Inform, drive, and facilitate decisions throughout the product creation process to maximize consumer value and craftsmanship

• Strategically collaborate with Footwear Sourcing to ensure appropriate capabilities and resources required to manufacture exceptional product

• Lead strategy, and functional excellence to support large scale growth

• Attract, hire, develop and retain a world-class team of diverse talent.

• Balance development resources to ensure capacity to execute seasonal footwear projects

• Build relationships with Nike's industry leading manufacturing partners
