Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training
1-2 years of relevant experience
Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, design patterns)
Familiarity with modern software architecture principles (REST, microservices, domain-driven design)
Exposure to building web applications using frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js
Basic knowledge of cloud concepts and services (AWS preferred)
Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD, test-driven development, and infrastructure as code (through coursework or internships)
Experience with testing frameworks such as Cypress, Mocha, Jasmine, or Jest (academic or internship projects)
Excellent problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technologies
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
Internship or academic project experience with APIs, event-driven systems, or cloud-based solutions is a plus
Interest in AI/ML and data-driven solutions is a bonus
WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON
You will be part of a team of engineers building out tooling for our Enterprise facing Consumer Product & Innovation applications that are part of Nike's Merchandising domain. We are investing in building modular, configurable and "API-First" capabilities which will be consumed by modern web applications built with the most recent component-based UI libraries like React.
