    Position summary

    You will be a trusted subject matter expert, influencing safe behaviours, strengthening our ISO 45001-aligned management system, and ensuring health and safety excellence across complex, high-risk environments including programmes, refurbishments, and installations.

    What You'll Be Doing

    • Lead and maintain a robust Health and Safety Management System aligned to ISO 45001

    • Provide expert advice on risk management, legislative compliance, and functional safety across UK sites

    • Plan and conduct inspections, audits, and risk assessments, including PSIF risks

    • Investigate incidents, manage corrective actions, and drive sustainable safety improvements

    • Develop, review, and implement health and safety policies, procedures, and guidance

    • Deliver and oversee health and safety training, emergency preparedness, and awareness programmes

    • Chair the UK Health and Safety Committee and support EMEA-level safety governance

    • Monitor legislative changes and ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements
      What You'll Bring

    • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (or working towards)

    • NEBOSH General Certificate and NEBOSH Fire Certificate

    • ISO 45001 Internal Auditor qualification

    • Minimum of five years' experience in a health and safety role within complex or regulated environments

    • Strong experience working with internal stakeholders and external suppliers

    • Ability to interpret technical drawings, instructions, and procedures to ensure functional safety compliance

    • High capability in health and safety data analysis across multiple systems

    • Professional membership with the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health

      Security Clearance

      You must be able to gain and maintain UK Government Security Check (SC) clearance.
