    Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is seeking a* Principal *Systems Engineer or a Sr. Principal Systems Engineer to support a program out of our Aurora, CO location.
    Position Overview:

    • This position requires multidiscipline knowledge in all areas related to systems engineering including systems design, modeling, requirements development and mapping, and integration and test.

    • Diplomatically interface with all levels of management, employees, internal and external customers, and vendors
      This requisition may be filled at a higher job grade based on the qualifications listed below.
      This requisition may be filled as either a Principal Systems Engineer or a Sr. Principal Systems Engineer.
      Basic Qualifications for a Principal Systems Engineer:

    • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 5 years of relevant experience, a master's degree in a STEM discipline with 3 years of relevant experience or a PhD in a STEM discipline with 0 years of relevant experience.

    • *Active Top Secret/SCI clearance at time of application *

    • Experience with requirements development & management

    • Experience with CAMEO MBSE modeling

    • Experience with Test plan & procedure development

    • Experience with System CONOPS

    • Familiar with Sys Eng. V

    • Experience with SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, etc.
      Basic Qualifications for a Sr. Principal Systems Engineer:

    • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 8 years of relevant experience, a master's degree in a STEM discipline with 6 years of relevant experience or a PhD in a STEM discipline with 4 years of relevant experience.

    • *Active Top Secret/SCI clearance at time of application *

    • Experience with requirements development & management

    • Experience with CAMEO MBSE modeling

    • Experience with Test plan & procedure development

    • Experience with System CONOPS

    • Familiar with Sys Eng. V

    • Experience with SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, etc.
      Preferred Qualifications:

    • Data Analysis & RF Mission processing
      Salary Range: $110,300.00 - $165,500.00Salary Range 2: $137,400.00 - $206,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
