Northrop Grumman's Strategic Deterrence Division's Flight Systems Post-Boost, Payloads and Protections Operating Unit is seeking a Director Program Management to lead the Sentinel Payloads and Protections Integrated Product Team (IPT). This position will be located in Roy, Utah or Huntsville, AL.
This Director will partner with the subcontract management team (SMT) leads and functional engineering operations to support the Sentinel program at the Roy, Utah campus. As a key leader in the Operating Unit the selected candidate will also oversee team activity to identify, capture, develop, and execute new and follow-on business.
What You'll Get To Do:
This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years of relevant experience or 8+ years with a Master's Degree.
Direct work experience with Department of War Government personnel
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time to build and maintain supplier and Government relationships
Active DOD Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain SAP
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have: Bachelor's Degree in STEM
Candidate should be a strong collaborator with the ability to work across multiple areas within Northrop Grumman and be comfortable navigating a matrixed environment
Ability to advocate and influence government acquisition plans and create new business capture strategies
Experience in identifying and mitigating performance risks while operating in a demanding, high-paced environment with minimal supervision
Demonstrable history of versatile and dynamic leadership and the ability to forge strong customer and teammate relationships and to build, maintain, and motivate a high-performance execution team
Strong communication skills
Primary Level Salary Range: $193,800.00 - $290,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
