*Position Overview: *
The Principal Project Management / Sr. Principal Project Management - Release Train Engineer will work on the Modeling and Simulation - Framework (MASC-F) program with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and developers. The RTE will support the OSF Release Train and will work directly with the Product Manager to facilitate program level processes and execution, drive continuous development and improvement, manage risks and mitigate and/or escalate impediments (as appropriate). The RTE is also responsible for coaching the associated ART members in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).

Basic Qualifications for Principal Project Management are:
Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline preferred from an accredited university and 5 years of related experience, or a Master's Degree and 3 years of related experience, or 1 years of experience with a PhD.
Software Engineering / Project Engineering experience working within the defense industry
Experience using Agile Lifecycle Management tools (e.g. Jira, VersionOne, Rally, etc.)
Strong prioritization skills: ability to focus on what drives the most value
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written; ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels
Ability to leverage and implement agile patterns in support of a disciplined engineering context
Familiarity with product and release lifecycle from requirements development to retirement
Ability to decompose features into user stories
Experience with git and git-based repository systems (e.g. Gitlab, Bitbucket, etc.)
Ability and willingness to travel to support business needs.

Primary Level Salary Range: $87,000.00 - $130,600.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $108,400.00 - $162,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
