What You'll Get To Do:
With general guidance from assignment or functional management, this position is responsible for providing leadership to a customer-focused team or group of teams.
Bachelor's degree and 8 years of related experience; master's degree and 6 years' experience or an additional 4 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP)
Demonstrated track record/ experience in project management/ execution and closeout
Firm understanding and application of Earned Value Management
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Experience managing people, such as daily functional leadership of a team of ~10-15 employees with capacity to lead and support a team of ~50 employees
Strong understanding of the impact of decision-making on organizational objectives, emphasizing accountability and foresight
Ability to demonstrate independent creative thinking and problem-solving capabilities
Program Management experience within the Aerospace and Defense industry
Familiarity with the Deterrence mission
Active TS clearance
Current/Active Special Program Access (SAP)
CAM or IPT leadership with proficiency managing project costs and schedules effectively
Global supply chain experience, either functionally or through managing the performance of a supplier
Executive presence and comfort in communications at that level
Experience building strong relationships - both internally and with customers
Demonstrable capability of working with minimal direction, independently determining, and developing technical objectives of assignments, and presenting work upon completion at high quality
Primary Level Salary Range: $115,000.00 - $190,700.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
