Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is seeking a* Staff*** Systems Engineer Test (Integrator) for their Aurora, CO location. As a part of the Systems Engineering Integration & Test (SEIT) team, an Integration & Test engineer gains an understanding of the Systems Engineering process across a product's lifecycle and gains a full appreciation for how the systems operate.
    Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to complete tasks with little direction and oversight. They will be an effective communicator and problem solver who is able to develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and customers. This candidate will demonstrate a commitment to ethics, integrity.
    Responsibilities for an Integration Engineer include familiarity with Automated Testing framework, software baseline deployment, testing and troubleshooting the environment, reading error logs, and coordinate corrections with the development team. Additional responsibilities may include an understanding of test plans, test procedures, test automation, test reports, and execution of integration test activities in System Integration Labs (SILs) or offsite locations.
    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience; 10 years with a Masters; 8 years with a PhD. An additional 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

    • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance at the time of application

    • Experience writing test plans and test procedures

    • Experience using conops and operational scenarios as the basis for test procedures

    • Experience with debugging and integrating cots and custom software together with computer hardware on both linux and windows operating systems

    *Preferred Qualifications: *

    • Experience with command and control of ground equipment

    • Experience in Agile organizations

    • Experience with conus and oconus deployments

    • Experience with enterprise level testing

    • Security+ cert

    Salary Range: $155,500.00 - $233,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
