Job Details

We are seeking a Senior Insurance Product Analyst, Product Owner to support innovative initiatives from end-to-end. This includes the complete lifecycle of various technical projects from scoping, development and design, implementation, monitoring/calibration, and potential retirement. In this business-critical role, you will work with the Senior Manager, Insurance Product on new and impactful initiatives such as underwriting models, actuarial tooling, or product performance testing. As a member of the Insurance Product Management team, you will partner closely with Insurance Product Research, Engineering, and other teams across the organization to drive success for the initiatives you own.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the Senior Manager, Insurance Product to develop the strategy and roadmap for initiatives you own.

  • Translate new models and tools into business requirements and partner with our Engineering team to develop test frameworks that ensure an accurate implementation.

  • Develop processes and documentation to make new models and tools available to Regional Insurance Product Managers for use in their markets.

  • Analyze the results of initiatives you own, provide insights into their performance, and recommend improvements.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of professional experience, with experience in both of the following areas:

    • P&C insurance (homeowners experience is a plus)
    • Software development, technical product management, insurance rating engine development, or similar
  • A degree in Mathematics, Business, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or similar study

  • Strong critical thinking skills, ability to operate in ambiguity and challenge existing processes.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills, and ability to translate concepts between technical and business language.

Compensation & Benefits:

The target salary range represents the budgeted salary range for this position. Actual compensation for this position will be determined based on the successful candidate's experience and skills. We are committed to providing a compensation package that not only reflects the responsibilities and requirements of the role, but also the unique expertise that the chosen candidate will bring to our team.

Target Salary Range

$82,800 - $98,325 USD

The full salary range shows the min to max salary range for this position. Actual compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications and determined based on various factors including the candidate's qualifications, skills, and experience.

Full Salary Range

$77,625 - $129,375 USD
