    Position summary

    lass Portfolio Management function, in support of Realtor.com 's priorities. The work will entail building out the demand & capacity management function, strategic planning, Delivery Key Strategic Initiatives, Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting. This role will also be responsible for maturing PM Best Practices (Processes, Tools & Templates).

    Director, Portfolio & Program Management Responsibilities:

    • Own/Manage Tech & Product Ops Delivery Portfolio. Clear articulation of outcomes (Value Realization) based on work delivered

    • Demand & Capacity Management - Lead Planning Process, Alignment of Priority to Delivery Portfolio

    • Establishing Reporting & Scorecards. Use Tools & Data to provide proactive insights

    • Set-up & run regular cadence with stakeholders & leader's to report program/portfolio status and apprises management of issues requiring resolution in order to maintain progress on a timely basis

    • Provide direct leadership, coach, and motivate Program Team's to ensure consistent disciplines are being implemented for managing scope, schedule, budgets, communication, and risks of major projects

    • Establish annual budgets for the portfolio and oversee financial management of all projects ensuring alignment with budgets and outcomes

    • Implement Industry Leading Program Management Best Practices

    • Create an environment of cross-functional collaboration, transparency, and accountability for the team

    Ideal Qualifications:

    • 10+ years of Program Management experience in the Tech industry, preferably with a background in Software/SaaS, or cloud platform

    • Demonstrated track record of success building out PM Best Practices ground up - Processes, Tools, Templates, Governance Model required

    • Data savvy, ability to ingest large data sets and build out dashboards & insights required

    • Experience leading Portfolio Management function (Intake, Planning, Roadmap, Delivery, Post-Deployment)

    • Deep PM tools/tech experience required

    • Capability mapping experience required

    • Experience leading process design workshops with large groups preferred

    • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred

    • Strategic mindset to envision the future and translate into tangible plans

    • Excellent verbal and written (including presentation) communication skills

    • Good listening skills and ability to be receptive to the ideas of others

    • Demonstrable track record of managing and successfully delivering complex, enterprise wide programs of increasing complexity and impact is essential

    • Strong leadership competencies, with proven ability to lead people through change, proven strategic thinking and build great cross-functional teams including inspiring, attracting, selecting, developing and retaining top talent

    • Proven ability to impact, influence and interact within various levels of an organization to achieve desired outcomes through building effective relationships

    • Excellent problem solving and negotiation skills

    • Sense of urgency to deliver new capabilities to the business, along with the ability to prioritize multiple and competing strategic priorities

    • Experience in such areas as strategic planning, Agile, waterfall, project management principles

    • Excellent consulting, collaboration and communication skills

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
