    Position summary

    development and commercialization of Cash Management solutions within the US. S/he manages the complete product lifecycle from ideation, and strategy to product launch and commercialization. S/he liaises with all internal (Operations, IT, Change Management, Compliance, Risk, Legal) and external stakeholders (Clients and partner bank(s) providing white-label solutions). Definition and execution of the cash management product development roadmap, including solution design, implementation, and servicing.

Uses knowledge of markets, competitors, industries, and clients to determine demand, enhancements, and future trends in cash/liquidity products and services. Take ownership of ongoing business priorities and projects in cash management to develop, improve, and launch new capabilities in the Santander NY branch.

    Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

    • Serves as Product SME for cash/liquidity management services at Santander NY branch.

    • Manage end-to-end processes for the product life cycle from writing business requirements to launch and commercialization.

    • Well-versed with the industry standard, compliance, and regulations associated with cash management products and services.

    • Understanding of payments in the US market - Wires, ACH, RTP, Controlled Disbursement, and Lockbox.

    • Understand account and liquidity solutions - DDA, MMDA, cash pooling, investment sweeps, escrow, and virtual accounts.

    • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders in the first line and second line of defense: e.g., Legal, Risks, Compliance, IT, Treasury, Change Management, and Operations.

    • Manages the NPBA (New Product and Business Activities) process associated with all new business initiatives of cash management.

    • Establishes operating procedures and policies for new product launches and services in cash management.

    • Promotes and develops working relationships with the Sales and Corporate Banking team to provide product support and bespoke solutions for the CIB client base.

    • Manages projects for product enhancements from conception to final implementation

    • Evaluate new and existing product opportunities and bring forward proposals for business to optimize and expand the bank's cash management offering.

    • Creates product material such as procedures, user guides, customer communications, and marketing materials.

    • Maintains a product roadmap by leveraging market analysis, competitive knowledge, and customer research.

    Education:

    • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent degree and/or work experience, in Business, Finance, or a related field.

    Work Experience:

    • 6+ Years of Product Management, Business Development, or related experience in large and global Financial Institutions.

    Skills and Abilities:

    • SME in cash management products (payments, receivables & liquidity management) and compliance regulations.

    • Advanced knowledge of budget planning, risk evaluation, and product documentation.

    • Strong computer skills - Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) and ability to quickly learn new software and or systems.

    • Excellent relationship management, business development, and presentation skills.

    • Maintain and demonstrate high ethical standards and personal integrity to build credibility and trust while enhancing the organization's reputation.

    • Ability to translate customer needs into marketable product features.

    • Self-starter: forward-thinking, with a positive/can-do attitude.

    • Demonstrates the ability to create strategic plans and lay out a strategic course of action to drive future business growth for a specific product.

    • Demonstrate understanding of product development life cycle.

    The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
    Salary: $117,000 - $175,000/year
