    Position summary

    e & detective controls-reporting that aid in monitoring compliance with TPRM requirements, risk mitigation, and the identification & remediation of process deficiencies. Some Key tasks include data extraction, manipulation, visualization, and report generation, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of information while adhering to relevant regulations and reporting standards.

    • Extracting data from various sources like databases, CRM systems, spreadsheets, and applications.

    • Ensuring data quality by identifying and correcting inconsistencies or errors.

    • Performing statistical analysis, trend analysis, and identifying patterns within data sets.

    • Creating customized reports with clear visualizations (charts, graphs) using reporting tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Excel

    • Delivering reports to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner through appropriate channels.

    • Ensuring reports adhere to industry regulations and standards.

    • Explaining complex data insights to non-technical users and addressing questions about reports.

    • Identifying opportunities to optimize data collection, analysis, and reporting processes.

    Also responsible for various VMO Support functions including but not limited to the following:

    • Effectively collaborate with various stakeholders while influencing strategic goals.

    • Ensures transparency of business results, finance and processes.

    • Typically organizes a reporting system and tracks goals accomplishment, collect and process data and provides managers with all necessary company management data and information.

    • Ensure awareness in the Business Line of risk frameworks, policies and standards.

    • Communication & Training: Maintain two way communications with SLoD. Facilitate training for Business Lines to provide awareness of risk frameworks, policies, programs, processes, etc.

    • Adherence to Risk Frameworks, Policies, and Standards: Partner with SLoD to provide input/review of frameworks, policies and standards. Facilitate Business Line awareness of and adherence to risk frameworks, policies, and standards. Report and escalate exceptions and facilitate Business Line corrective actions.

    • Continuous Monitoring: Continuously monitors all sources of risk existing within the Business Line and externally. Engage in research, peer networking, and experience to anticipate critical risk issues impacting the Business Line. Understand where credit, market/liquidity, operational, strategic, reputational, compliance, and model risks exist in the Business Line and continually assess and improve controls to mitigate those risks. Monitor Key Risk Indicators and report on negative/adverse trends in Business Line. Monitor risk profile to maintain tolerance within Risk Appetite. Core responsibilities include:

    • Update all VMO process and procedures according to current practices and recertify on an annual basis

    • Develop new and maintain existing VMO Job Aids

    • Send Department communications through Department Mailbox 2

    • Coordinate agenda and prepare VMO departmental meeting deck

    • Assisting during RCSA and Audit exams by providing an overview of the VMO department function

    • Provide training and guidance regarding VMO-related processes to new hires and existing VMO staff as needed

    • Access Provision for New Hires and access control for department owned applications

    • Maintain inventory of SAN Learn Training and track employee completion rates

    • Develop and Publish VMO BCO Issue Management Report

    • Send Assessment Delivery report to BCO weekly

    • Service Expiration review and coordination of email notifications

    • Compile and or save current TPRM dependent reporting as it relates to Negative News and OFAC results, Out of Governance, Business Continuity, and ARB etc.

    • VMO SharePoint Administration

    • Update VMO SharePoint/ Keep repository up to date, including but not limited to: News and Alerts, Training material, Forms/Procedures

    Skills & Qualifications:

    • Ability to interpret complex data sets and draw meaningful conclusions.

    • Expertise in software like SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI.

    • Creating clear and impactful charts and graphs to communicate insights.

    • Ensuring accuracy in data collection, analysis, and reporting.

    • Effectively presenting findings and explaining complex data to diverse audiences including senior level Management.

    • Understanding of database structures and data manipulation techniques.

    • Knowledge of key business metrics and how to interpret them in the context of the organization.
