    Position summary

    ced offer management leader with a track record building and scaling discretionary investment programs, who can influence the enterprise and execute with discipline.

    Schwab's Wealth and Advice Solutions business line develops and delivers holistic wealth management solutions, including Schwab Wealth Advisory (SWA), Schwab Advisor Network (SAN), the Wealth Strategies Group (WSG), and other full-service offerings. As part of the Offer Management team supporting SWA and WSG, you will partner closely across Business, Product, Technology, and Legal/Compliance to bring the offer to life and improve it over time.

    You will be responsible for the strategic planning, business analysis, concept design, and implementation of new investment management program and enhancements to Schwab's holistic wealth management offerings. We work, think, and solve problems differently than a traditional financial services firm, with a focus on changing how the industry serves investors. In this role, you will lead a team accountable for delivering a consistent, scalable wealth management experience across people, process, and technology.

    The Director will report to the Managing Director of Schwab Wealth Advisory's Offer Management and will partner with enterprise business vertical leads to design and deliver a comprehensive, elegant discretionary offer.

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Own the discretionary offer lifecycle from concept and design through launch and ongoing evolution establishing scalable operating practices and clear accountability across home office, advisors, and key partners.

    • Design and optimize the end-to-end advisor experience for a discretionary offer, including onboarding, enrollment, portfolio implementation, monitoring, and client engagement.

    • Lead development of the operating model capabilities required to support a discretionary offering, including home office design, legal structures, and governance.

    • Partner with investment, legal, compliance, and risk teams to ensure offer design aligns with investment capabilities, fiduciary standards, and operational requirements.

    • Lead senior-level, cross-functional decision making to shape and advance the offer, including future-state capabilities, offer design, operating model decisions, and execution priorities.

    What you have

    Required:

    • Bachelor's degree required.

    • 10+ years in financial services, with experience in discretionary investment management, managed accounts, UMA/SMA platforms, or advisory product management.

    • Experience designing, launching, scaling, or evolving discretionary investment management offerings and the associated operating models.

    • 5+ years of direct people management experience.

    Preferred:

    • MBA preferred
