1999 as an 501(c)(3) public charity, DAFgiving360 donors have recommended over $50 billion in grants to more than 295,000 charities.
DAFgiving360 has entered into a services agreement with Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. for administrative and other services, including human resources. This position will be an employee of Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. and will be subject to its policies and procedures but will report to and be accountable to DAFgiving360 for day-to-day activities.
The Grants Team's primary responsibility is to process grant recommendations submitted by DAFgiving360 account holders (clients) to eligible public charities. The Giving Specialist will report to the Grants Team Manager. The position will consist of processing grant recommendations submitted by DAFgiving360 clients through their donor-advised fund. The Giving Specialist role entails entering grant information into our database, confirming an organizations' tax-exempt status and contact information, and verifying the designation of the grant to ensure it meets DAFgiving360's Program Policies and IRS requirements for donor-advised funds. Giving Specialists correspond regularly with donors, clients, investment advisors and charities.
In addition to their daily grant processing responsibilities, Giving Specialists might be asked to assist on our inbound phone line. Qualified candidates will be comfortable answering incoming calls from current and potential clients, financial advisors, and charitable organizations. Qualified candidates will also have a basic understanding of donor-advised fund accounts and desire to assist clients in processing their grant recommendations.

Qualifications:
BA/BS degree preferred
Minimum of 2 years employment experience (background in non-profit or donor-advised fund accounts and/or financial services
Excellent customer service skills, particularly the ability to communication with affluent clients and their investment advisors
High levels of individual ownership, emotional intelligence, and critical thinking
Attitude of continuous improvement - thinks creatively and identifies opportunities to improve processes
Growth Mindset: positive attitude, team orientation, enthusiasm, professionalism, and a strong work ethic with high level of integrity and ethics
