    Position summary

    What you will do:

    • Monitor and assess real-time Risk Intelligence Feeds to determine risk to employee's safety, business operations and company assets. This will include but is not limited to verbal follow up with employees, written communication and appropriate escalation based on predetermined guidelines.

    • Monitor and assess weather related products as well as real time weather events to determine risk to employee's safety, business operations and company assets. This will include but is not limited to sheltering employees if applicable, coordinating with vendors, providing written communication and appropriate escalation based on predetermined guidelines.

    • Compile and evaluate travel reports; monitor and track flights based on predetermined thresholds. This will include but is not limited to monitoring for travel disruptions.

    • Create and disseminate accurate and professionally written reports to multiple groups and individuals across the firm.

    • Evaluate verbal, written and social media threats to determine risk to employee safety, business operations and company assets. This will include but is not limited to information gathering, coordinating with other business units, identifying potentially impacted facilities, and escalating accordingly.

    • Work cooperatively with others GSOC team members as well as develop, maintain, and strengthen partnerships inside and outside of the GSOC.

    • Promote a positive work environment.

    • Investigate branch security alarms and escalate to Security Management as required.

    • Anticipate the implications and consequences of situations and take appropriate action to be prepared for possible contingencies.

    • Provide and promote outstanding customer service to all clients.

    • Make common sense decisions and exercise during high tension and stressful situations.

    • Evaluate global incidents that may impact employees or offices and escalate accordingly to security management and subsequently to other business units within the company.

    • Communicates and disseminates information, using established communication platforms, to key partners using best practices.

    • Monitor Enterprise Access Control, CCTV Surveillance Camera System, and alarms at facilities nationally.

    • Verify badge access, restricted access, and disable badges as needed.

    • Monitor CCTV and download camera footage to support investigations.

    We believe in the importance of in-office collaboration and fully intend for the selected candidate for this role to work on site five days a week in the specified locations.

    Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship.

    Required Qualifications:

    • 2+ years of corporate security experience.

    • High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.

    • Strong industry and functional knowledge including security alarm systems and Global Security Operations Center operations.

    • Advanced communication skills (written and verbal) in English with the ability to effectively communicate with persons who may or may not speak English as their primary language.

    • Must have the ability to work under less than direct supervision.

    • Ability to complete on-the-job training to complete tasks.

    • Ability to remain calm under pressure and de-escalate and re-direct telephone conversations to quickly identify and take action to resolve emergencies.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • 2-year college degree in Security, Loss Prevention or Safety preferred.
