directly covering existing advisors and clients via inbound/outbound calls and e-mails on a real time basis with the trading and technology issues that they encounter.
Responsibilities:
Direct client interface through the reception of inbound calls from RIAs and end clients
Process equity and option trades via phone
Review and resolve any trade and/or allocation issues that result from Schwab Advisor Center
Cover trades for advisor errors
Reviews and process liquidate and transfer instructions, faxed trades, and worthless security removals
Process foreign, complex option orders, and not held trades for advisors and work directly with market centers to ensure proper execution
Educate, acclimate and support advisors on entering trades and allocating through our proprietary trading software (Schwab Advisor Center, iRebal, thinkpipes and FIX) enabling them to become self-sufficient in these areas
What you have
Required minimum skills and qualifications include:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
2-3 years of financial services and client service experience
Active Series 7 and Series 63 licenses
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Hands-on experience with equity, stock, and options trading
Exceptional communication and active listening skills
Ability to quickly build rapport with advisors and clients, accurately assess needs, and clearly articulate solutions
Demonstrated ability to work independently with strong attention to detail, urgency, and accuracy
Proven capability to prioritize tasks and perform effectively under pressure
Highly self-motivated and committed to delivering excellent client service
Working knowledge of risk management concepts and the ability to assess exposure for large or complex trades
Understanding of securities regulations, basic corporate actions, reorganizations, and general market mechanic
