Backup and Recovery: Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive backup and recovery strategies, ensuring the integrity and availability of data.

Troubleshooting and Support: Diagnose and resolve database-related issues, working with development teams and users to ensure seamless database operations.
Monitoring and Maintenance: Proactively monitor database health, space utilization, and resource consumption, and perform regular maintenance activities like patching and updates.
Collaboration: Work closely with developers, system administrators, and other IT professionals to support database-related tasks and initiatives.
Documentation: Maintain documentation for database configurations, procedures, and standards.
What you have
Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Experience: Proven work experience as an Oracle Database Administrator, with knowledge of Oracle database design, coding, and documentation.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL.
Experience with Oracle database administration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with database backup procedures, recovery systems, and Oracle security features.
Experience with Oracle tools and technologies such as Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM), Oracle Data Guard, and Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN).
Knowledge of different operating systems, particularly Linux and Windows.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of cloud database offerings and migrating applications data from legacy databases.
Experience with scripting languages like Bash or Python.
