    What You'll Do

    As a Senior Manager and engineering lead, you'll drive both strategy and execution:

    • Provide strategic, technical, and project leadership to software and data pipeline development

    • Lead hands-on engineering while mentoring team members at all levels

    • Navigate cross-functional communication to align product, development, QA, operations, and business teams

    • Drive Agile delivery, prioritization, and story decomposition to meet organizational goals

    • Identify technology risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans

    • Ensure delivery of high-quality releases on time and within budget

    • Oversee production support artifacts, deployment processes, and smooth handoffs to support teams

    • Collaborate with shared functions to improve automation, application support, and deployment workflows

    • Cultivate open feedback, accountability, and continuous improvement across the engineering team

    You'll bring deep technical expertise, proven engineering leadership, and a passion for building scalable, modern platforms.

    Required Qualifications

    • Expertise in ETL development, Data Architecture, Data Modeling, Data Quality, best practices, and exception handling

    • Proficiency with SQL and Google Cloud technologies including BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Composer, and Pub/Sub

    • Expertise in Informatica / IDMC.

    • Strong business analysis experience to translate requirements into accurate data mapping

    • 12-15 years of data engineering experience

    • 7+ years of strategic project leadership in a matrixed organization

    • Extensive experience building and maturing teams at multiple levels

    • Strong understanding of Data Warehouse concepts (star schema, slowly changing dimensions, fact/dim modeling) and Operational Data Exchanges/Stores

    • Solid understanding of data lifecycle, metadata management, and governance standards

    • Ability to disagree, debate with data, and commit to execution

    • Excellent verbal and written communication for technical and non-technical audiences

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with corporate systems such as Workday, Remedy Helix, Jira, Rally

    • Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Python

    • Experience supporting Treasury data needs (e.g., forecasting net interest revenue, liquidity/cash management, financial statements)

    • Experience implementing event-driven architectures (e.g., Confluent Kafka)

    • Experience with data visualization/reporting tools

    • Proficiency with developer tools such as GitHub, Bamboo, Liquibase

    • Experience with cloud-based technologies (GCP preferred, AWS, Azure)

    • Ability to implement cost-effective, scalable solutions in fast-paced, distributed environments

    • 5+ years in financial services

    In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
