Provide verbal credit presentations to large and small internal audiences;
Providing on-going surveillance of assigned corporate issuers.
Key factors for success in this role include:
Demonstrated knowledge of and interest in financial markets, specifically fixed income;
Ability to think strategically and apply broad economic trends as a component of investment recommendations;
Strong fundamental and in-depth issuer-specific credit analysis skills
Strong and effective interpersonal and presentation skills;
Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple competing priorities within established deadlines;
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in making appropriate credit recommendations.
What you have
Required Qualifications:
5 years of fixed income credit research experience or related analytical role
Bachelor's degree
Excellent fundamental credit analysis skills involving corporate issuers; strong quantitative acumen
Ability to think strategically, evaluate industry and economic/sovereign trends, and apply analysis to make appropriate investment recommendations for the funds and SMA accounts.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong writing skills. Experience writing investment reports, a plus.
