    The IT Program Manager acts as a Change Manager and is responsible for governing, coordinating, and executing technology changes to ensure stable, compliant, and predictable releases into production environments. This role partners closely with the Release Manager to support end to end release execution and serves as a backup to the Release Manager to ensure continuity of release operations.

    The IT Program Manager oversees change planning, risk assessment, scheduling, approvals, and communications, ensuring all changes align with release calendars, enterprise standards, and regulatory requirements

    Change Management Governance:

    • Manage the end to end change lifecycle, including intake, risk assessment, dependency management, approval, and post implementation review.

    • Facilitate Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings and ensure decisions are documented and auditable. Ensure all changes are properly documented, risk-assessed, and authorized.

    • Maintain change calendar and ensure conflict detection and resolution for all IT changes including standard and infrastructure changes.

    Release Support:

    • Partner with the Release Manager to align changes to release schedules, deployment windows, and environment readiness.

    • Ensure change readiness for deployments

    • Validate release scope against approved changes

    • Support go/no-go decisions with risk and impact analysis

    • Ensure all changes within a release meet compliance and quality standards.

    • Ensure change records are accurate, complete, and compliant with organizational and regulatory standards.

    • Identify opportunities to improve change and release processes, reduce risk, and increase delivery efficiency.

    • Schedule and lead release retrospectives; capture, track, and drive closure of associated action items follow-ups.

    • Provide status reporting and release readiness updates

    • Support release events a couple of evenings a month acting as release coordinator(shared with other release coordinators).

    What you have

    Required Qualifications:

    • Strong experience in IT Change Management and Release Management within enterprise environments

    • Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments

    • Ability to manage cross-functional coordination in complex environments

    • Strong risk management and decision-making capability

    • Strong stakeholder communication and coordination skills

    • Excellent facilitation and communication skills (CAB, war rooms, exec updates)

    • Experience supporting regulated or audit driven environments

    • Familiarity with tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence, CI/CD platforms

    • Proven ability to step into Release Manager responsibilities when needed

    In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
